Welcome to the virtual headquarters of the American Ski-Bike Association (ASA). Our mission is a very simple one: To promote participation in the wonderful sport of Ski-Biking, also known as Snowbiking or in Europe, SkiBobbing.

British Skibike Racing
Each winter in Europe, there is a series of international races including the World Cup circuit and the World Championships. SKIBIKE racing is very similar to Alpine SKI racing, using similar pistes and racecourses homologised by the FISB, which has similar requirements to the FIS. The speeds reached by a SKIBIKE racer are very similar to those of Alpine SKI racers. Race techniques and ski preparation are the same.
Canadian SkiBike Association CSA
skibiking continues to flourish in Alberta and other provinces, and continues to attract skiers interested in trying out something new. It has however, largely remained a niche sport enjoyed by a small group of dedicated enthusists, all of whom remain grateful to the many ski areas who continue to encourage and promote this exciting sport.
Crighton Snowmoto

Ron Mickelberry Skibobs Site
I am an avid "skibobber," and have been riding bobs for over 25 years. As some of you know, thanks to the Brenter skibobs they are making a slow comeback. I have 11 bobs myself, which most were state of the art in 1972. I even have a Fritzmeyer from 1968 and a Apollo skibob both with wooden skies and no they ain't for sale.

Skibike Movie Archives
Home of an awesome historical collection of archival skibike movies. These films were originally shot in the early 80's on Super-8 film using a portable helmet mounted Canon 310 camera with a wide-angle 28mm lens. They were eventually converted to VHS and then digitally captured to AVI and finally rendered into one of several highly compressed web streaming formats.

SkiBob Association of Great Britain SAGB
The SAGB as founded by enthusiasts with the aim of furthering the sport in the UK. Skibobs of one sort or another have can be traced back to the 1800's but it was not until 1951 that the first race was held. 10 years later the Federation Internationale de Skibob was formed. The SAGB word formed in the early 1960's.
