49 Degrees North
Ski area In Northeast Washington with 2,325 acres of skiable terrain (2nd largest in Washington State!) on varied, treed slopes. 3,956ft - 5,774ft altitude, 1,851ft vertical, the longest run rolls 2.5 miles.

Crystal Mountain
Ski area located on the northeast corner of Mount Rainier National Park, southeast of Seattle, Washington. Altitude 4,400ft - 7,012ft. 3,100ft vertical. 1,300 acres lift serviced terrain with 50 runs of all grades and 9 lifts, plus 1,000 acres of backcountry slopes.
Diamond Peak
Lake Tahoe's premier family ski resort 35 miles from Reno International Airport, Nevada. 655 skiable acres with 30 runs of all standards plus open glades and tree skiing. 6,700ft - 8,540ft, vertical drop of runs 1,840ft. Reasonably good snow records.
Dodge Ridge
Impressive ski resort in Boulder Creek Canyon, 30 miles east of Sonora, California. There are two intermediate routes down the Canyon: Graceland, the gentler of the two, is located on the skier's left of the top lift terminal. Creekside to Boulder Over is accessed from the skier's right of the lift. The remainder of the runs are all very challenging and provide Dodge Ridge's steepest (Six Shooter) and best veiws (Sure Shot).
Donner Ski Ranch
435 acres of skiable terrain in Norden, California. Off Interstate 80, 45 miles west of Reno. 7,030ft altitude, 750ft of vertical rise. 27 greatly wide-open runs, 6 chair-lifts.
Eaglecrest
Impressive ski area nestled in coastal fjords on Douglas Island, just 12 miles from downtown Juneau, Alaska. Very nice, mostly wooded, pistes of all standards. The terrain is rated as 20% novice, 40% intermediate and 40% expert. Vertical drop of 1,400ft, with the top lift station at 2,600ft. 31 alpine runs and 8km of Nordic trails. A maximum run length of 2 miles is served by 2 double chairlifts and a Platter surface lift.
Heavenly
Located at the south end of Lake Tahoe, on the borders of California and Nevada, east of San Francisco. 4,800 acres of varied terrain with lots of amazing views across the Lake and arid Nevada, 30 efficient lifts. Plenty of easy off-piste among the trees, some serious challenges for experts too (esp. on the Nevada side). Thanks to very impressive snowmaking system no worries about the snow cover. Few lift lines at weekends, unique apres-ski scene. 1,995m - 3,060m.
Hilltop Ski Area

Ski resort renowned for its powder. Located at the south end of the Lake Tahoe, 90min from Reno/Tahoe International Airport. Enormous choice of steep, uncrowded slopes, reasonable snow reliability, efficient lift system with a new high-speed quad. Great off-piste opportunities in Thunder Saddle/Eagle Bowl. 2,375m - 2,985m.
Las Vegas Ski and Snowboard Resort
Nestled in the Spring Mountain Range just minutes from the Las Vegas Strip, Nevada. At a 8,500ft base elevation the LVSSR is open every day from Thanksgiving to Easter, weather permitting.
Little Ski Hill - McCall, ID

Mammoth
The town of Mammoth Lakes and Mammoth Mountain resort, in central California on the eastern edge of the Sierra Nevada mountain range. Highway 395 is Mammoth's connection to the world. Huge ski area with varied 150 slopes including 3 terrain parks. Exceptionally long season, good sunshine and snoe records. Altitude 7,800ft (2,377m).
Mission Ridge
An unusual ski area with over 2 miles of ridge line at the top and a narrow base area at Wenatchee, Washington. 4,570ft - 6,770ft, 2,200ft vertical, 35 trails, 6 lifts.
Moose Mountain
Fairly extensive ski area located 10 miles west of Fairbanks, Alaska. Due to its southern exposure, the slopes are shielded from the prevailing Northeasterly winds and get hours of sun each day. 37 runs of all standards, with over 1,250 feet of vertical drop.
Mount Baker
Ski area located off the shoulder of Mt. Baker in the Cascade mountains, Washington state, offering over 30 different ski & snowboard pistes of all grades.
Mount Eyak - Cordova
Alaska's small ski and snowboard resort located in Cordova. 30 trails of all standards with 800ft of vertical drop, serviced by 1 single-chair lift.
Mount Hood Meadows
Located on the sunny, wind protected side of Mt. Hood, Oregon. Mount Spokane
A cute, intermediate skiing hill at Spokane, Washington state. Terrain park for snowboarders included.
Mountain High
Southern California's closest winter resort with no mountain driving. Located at Wrightwood, just 75 minutes from L.A. and Orange County. 220 acres of groomed pistes plus another 200 acres of off-piste terrain with vertical drop of 1,600ft. 47 runs of all standards, 12 chairlifts, 5 terrain parks, 2 half-pipes. 6,000ft - 8,200ft of altitude.
Mt Baldy

Mt. Ashland
Nestled in the magnificent Siskiyou Mountains, Oregon, the alpine gateway to the Pacific Northwest. The resort is conveniently located halfway between San Francisco and Portland; just 8 miles off Interstate 5.There is an annual snowfall of over 300 inches; plenty of snow for powder hounds and plenty of sun all winter long. The ski area has 23 trails in addition to chute skiing in a glacial cirque called the 'bowl'.

Mt. Rose
The highest base elevation in the Lake Tahoe area, Nevada, and the closest major ski resort to the airport - only 22 miles from Reno. Locally very popular resort with 43 wide, carefully groomed runs of all standards.
Northstar-at-Tahoe

Pomerelle Mountain Resort

Sahalie Ski Club
A family-oriented ski club at Snoqualmie Summit, Washington. One of the oldest ski clubs in the state. Having its own 14,500 sq. ft. lodge with 85 acres and private rope tows.
