  • Add to my SkiindexBialka Tatrzanska
  • Located at the foothills of the Tatras, at the border with Slovakia. One third of its area is within the limits of the Tatra National Park. Numerous slopes and long winter make the area excellent for skiers. They can use about forty ski lifts, mainly in Bukowina and Białka Tatrzanska. Most slopes are lit and maintained with snow making machines, with snack bars conveniently nearby.
  • Add to my SkiindexBrenna
  • Mainly beginner to intermediate short slopes in Polish ski and snowboarding area at Brenna, in between Visla and Bielsko Biala, south of Katowice, near the Czech border.
  • Add to my SkiindexCzarna Gora
  • Intermediate skiing on 7 treelined runs of Czarna Gora (1,205m) and Zmijowiec (1,153m) hills. Area serviced by 10 lifts, good nursery slopes. Located in the southern Poland south of Klodzko near Bystrzyca Klodzka, east of Czech Hradec Kralove, by the Czech border. Little to do off the slopes, artificial snowmaking, limited piste maintenance.
  • Add to my SkiindexKarpacz - Kopa
  • Generally early-intermediate, treeless skiing and snowboarding in family-friendly ski resort with somewhat unreliable snow record. Fairly efficient lift system, limited, easy slopes on the whole. Good value for money, dull apres-ski. 1,350m-820m altitude.
  • Add to my SkiindexKrynica
  • The snowcover remains here for at least 5 months a year. On the slopes of Jaworzyna Mountain there are 3 ski runs which are 4 km long altogether. The longest slope is 2,5 km long and it runs from the Upper Station to the Intermediate Station in Czarny Potok. 8 new ski runs, with a total length of about 13 km, are planed for the near future.
  • Add to my SkiindexPoznan - Malta Ski
  • A four-season resort near Poznan, western Poland, west of Warszawa, north-west of Wroclaw. Day & nigh skiing + snowboarding on wide-open, mild slope.
  • Add to my SkiindexSzklarska Poreba
  • Partly treeless and partly wooded skiing on the Szrenica (1,362m) and Labski Szczyt (1,471m) mountainsides, above Szklarska Poreba village, near the Czech border-line in the south-eastern corner of Poland. SE of Jelenia Gora, NW of Czech Liberec. Mainly intermediate trails, partly covered by snowmaking system.
  • Add to my SkiindexZakopane
  • By all means Poland's biggest and best ski resort. Located south of Zakopane town, close to the Slovak border and on the edge of the Tatra Mountains National Park, in southern Poland, S of Krakow. The skiing at Zakopane is fragmented and the lift infrastructure archaic, although reportedly undergoing some modernization. The nearest ski slopes are 3km (2 miles) away at Kasprowy Wierch where there is high alpine skiing in two treeless bowls. Other nearby areas are Gubalowka and Nosal.
  • Add to my SkiindexZieleniec
  • Pleasant, relaxing ski resort with fairly extensive intermediate skiing NW of Mostowice, SW of Klodzko, right on the Czech borderline. 20 NW-facing, somewhat short runs serviced by 19 lifts. Little to challenge real experts here. Erratic snow record, lack of off-slope diversions. Good nursery slopes for families. 850m-1,020m altitude.
