  • Add to my SkiindexBansko
  • An unspoilt ski resort 160km south of Sofia and about an hour's drive beyond Borovets, nestled in the shadow of the 2,915m peak of Vihren mountain, in the spectacularly beautiful Pirin range. Featuring 20km of mainly wide, tree-lined slopes in three nearby areas: Shiligarnika, Chalin Valog and Banderishka Poliana. Plentiful off-piste skiing.
  • Add to my SkiindexBerkovitsa
  • One of the future plans for development of winter tourism in Bulgaria belongs to the cozy and picturesque municipal of Bercovitsa. It is now a fact that the western parts of the Balkan mountain range are trying to catch up with the other winter resorts.
  • Add to my SkiindexBorovets
  • The biggest mountain resort in Bulgaria. The 40km of its piste are spread over three sectors, two of which, Markoudjika and Yastrebets, are loosely linked. The third one is Baraki, accessed by several lifts. Reliable snow cover by no means guaranteed, weekend lift lines, lack of adequate piste-grooming. 1,323m - 2,540m altitude.
  • Add to my SkiindexChepelare
  • Ski resort situated in the centre of Rodopi mountain, 10km from Pamporovo ski area. Offering over 8km of long, treed pistes, usually poorly groomed. Weekend queueing.
  • Add to my SkiindexGovedartsi
  • The village of Govedartsi is situated just 80 kilometers from Sofia, at the foot of the Rila Mountain, near Cherni Iskar River. It is a national mountain resort. Visitors can have a walk in Maliovitsa valley, climb Maliovitsa peak and enjoy beautiful sights.
  • Add to my SkiindexKOM Ski
  • The Kom Tourist and Sport complex is located just 15 kilometres away from the town, 12 kilometres from Petrohan gorge and 1500 meters above the sea level. Kom peak itself is 2016 meters above the sea level.
  • Add to my SkiindexKulinoto
  • Kulinoto is a site in the northern part of Pirin Mountain, at the valley of “Kulina” river. One ski run was made there with the voluntary labour of the local people somewhere in the 1980's. There are two "Pomagalski" type of drag lifts serving the run. 1400 m altitude.
  • Add to my SkiindexMalyovitsa
  • Situated within the Malyovitsa part of North-Western Rila mountain, 40km from Borovets. Offering mainly beginner to early-intermediate skiing and boarding at 1,700m altitude.
  • Add to my SkiindexMomchilovtsi
  • 12 km east from Pamporovo high in the Rodopi Mountain. It is 1050 meters above the sea level. Momchilovtsi offers a brand new piste for snowboarders in the heart of the Rodope Mountain. It is known as the snowboard park- a place for never ending party.
  • Add to my SkiindexOsogova Mountain
  • Situated on the western border of Bulgaria. The highest peak in the mountain is Ruen Peak (2252). It is right on the border line with Macedonia. The mountain offers a well maintained piste. The ski piste is 1580 m above the sea level.
  • Add to my SkiindexPamporovo
  • The purpose-built resort, Bulgaria's best bet for beginners and early intermediates, with mostly easy runs. Most of the hotels face the area's only ski mountain, Snezhanka. 17.5km of pretty, sheltered, but mostly mild and short runs, cutting through pine forest. Unreliable late-season snowcover, good ski schools, fairly lively apres-ski.
  • Add to my SkiindexPanichishte
  • The Panichishte resort is 1,350 meters above the sea level and lies on the border with Rila National Park. The natural beauty of the Northwestern part of Rila is unforgettable. It is located in Rila mountain, near the town of Separeva Banya (also a spa resort), and not very far from the town of Dupnitsa.
  • Add to my SkiindexParshevitsa
  • Small ski resort, situated in Vratsa Balkan Mountain Range. It is in very close proximity to the quiet and beautiful city of Vratsa (only 25 km) and Vratsata Gorge, which is a starting point to the Parshevitsa Hut, as well as to Ledenika Cave and Skaklya Waterfall.
  • Add to my SkiindexRazlog
  • The town of Razlog is situated in the Razlojka valley in the bosoms of three mountains- Rila to the north, Pirin to the south and west and Rodope to the east. Mesta River flows by the town. The town is just 155 kilometers away from Sofia and just 6 kilometers away from the most developed winter resort in Bulgaria- Bansko.
  • Add to my SkiindexSemkovo
  • The resort site of Semkovo is 17 kilometers away from the huddled at the foot of Rila town of Belitsa. The site is situated among spruce and pine- tree forests. It provides a exclusive panoramic view towards a chain of high alpine peaks on the spruce and fur- tree forests.
  • Add to my SkiindexTsigov Chark
  • Tsigov Chark is located in the Western part of the Rhodopi mountainis, some 8 km from the town of Batak and 24 km east from Velingrad. The resort is situated nearby the artificial lake of Batak. The average altitude is 900-1100 meters above sea level.
  • Add to my SkiindexUzana
  • Uzana ski area is situated on 1300-1400 meters above the sea level and is one of the most beautiful parts of the Balkan Mountain Range (Stara Planina mountain). The site provides great opportunities for snow-sports, mountain and ecological tourism.
  • Add to my SkiindexVitosha
  • Bulgaria's highest resort on Mount Vitosha, overlooking Sofia, but in fact nothing more than a few widely scattered hotels with very limited, bland runs with 2,290m of top elevation. The slopes are north-facing and have a decent snow record. By all means an ideal resort for beginners and early intermediates. The ski school is said to be excellent; however, Vitosha's proximity to the capital means weekend crowds and queues.
